Lifts: Odd cable cars go up and down

taking the locals into their neighborhoods. A journey in one of these lifts gives you a beautiful view 
of the bay and the sea.

House of Pablo Neruda - La Sebastiana

Pablo Neruda, Nobel Prize for Literature in 1971, built in Valparaiso one of his three wonderful houses, La Sebastiana.

Today the house is used as a museum dedicated to the memory of the poet.

Mercados

In these places, amid the smells, the bold flavors and the incessant shouting of the vendors, you can buy fruits, vegetables and all kinds of agricultural products and seafood.

Valparaiso has a show that runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays at Avenida Argentina and two markets: Cardonal Market located in the neighborhood of Almendral, and Puerto Market located in the neighborhood of the port.
