It´s not a touristy municipality, and is so far from the city center. It is surrounded by Boyeros, Cotorro, Diez de Octubre and San Miguel del Padrón municipalities.

This Municipality has the following recreative places :

The Lenin Park (Parque Lenin) with extensive green areas, amphitheatre, a big dam, park for children, restaurants, cafeterias, travels in boat, horses, rodeo, motocross, and other offers;

Pavillions for Expositions "ExpoCuba" with a big area where ferias and expositions take place, for example the International Fair "Feria Internacional de la Habana",

The National Botanic Garden (Jardin Botanico Nacional) with extensive green areas and a lot of plants and trees variety, cafeterias, restaurants,.....

The National Zoo have diferent areas, in one of them the animals are not in jails and you can see its from a transport.
